yes it can be as effective as paper based textbook cause we can get additional information on the topic sometimes more than what we get in are textbooks.but i still prefer textbooks because the internet may give inaccurate information.....:)!!!!!

DeleteE-learning is better, as students won’t waste their priceless time in writing. This will also give teachers more time for explaining as students won’t write slowly and teachers don’t have to wait. Students can also grasp more information for their topics. Students will enjoy learning and have more fun.

I would prefer Paper Based text books because towards me it is a more effective way of learning. E-learning on the other hand does not require the usage of paper. People prefer E-learning because it contains extra info compared to text books and if we might be in doubt,we could search the net.
I would still rather prefer Paper text books because the internet might not have 100% accurate info and its easier,from my perpective

ReplyDeletePaper based or E-learning? E- learning. Something totally different created in this generation. Electronic based learning. Everybody would choose that. Imagine learning with Ipads and tablets in school. Awesome. But I think I would choose Paper- based learning. Most ancient way of learning now but it’s more creative and causes much more chaos with ink which so much of fun. I just think too much of electronics will cause bad eyesight. I’m sticking to ancient paper.lolzo I wrote a lott.

DeletePaper based learning is a very rare choice to see in this generation. Most youngsters about my age would choose E-learning over paper based. E-learning is an effective way to learn, because most people consider using IPad, IPod etc... Though most people in the world would prefer paper based learning, in paper based learning you can imagine yourself as the character and can engage yourself in the stories. For me Paper Based learning is more fun than E-learning.

ReplyDeleteI would say that e-books will be much better because; it will save many trees and huge parts of the environment can be saved from destruction, as every one know that is one of the worlds biggest problems. As for studies it will be helpful because if anyone needs to research something it will be much easier and faster, but if we had to do the same things with books it would be a lot more difficult and it would take a really long time to find what you want.

Also because It's self-paced, it moves faster, it can work from any location and any time it can be easily managed for large groups of students, school bags won’t be heavier and lastly it is less expensive

ReplyDeleteI strongly agree for E-learning to be more advanced than paper-based learning because when we all learn from textbooks a lot of us think its very boring especially when the teachers tell us to read the texts even when none of us is listening ... so as a matter of fact when there is a Promethean board and lots of presentations with more knowledge, studying becomes interesting and people can be challenged to more hard IGCSE questions. Plus E-learning does have its advantages like 1. You don't have to spend money on textbooks...2.Presentations can be emailed to the students to their Gmail accounts.
