  1. It is very interesting. I started to stop throwing things away, giving clothes to charity. I stopped wasting food, I help other people now when I first saw this video. Whatever she said was true some people are greedy, so many people pollute our air with chemicals.

  2. This video was very touching. It describes the world now and all of it's damages. It has told me so much that I did not know about people on the streets and all their suffering. Unfortunately it is very true, people are becoming greedy and aren't even willing to share. I, as a Diyafite, am trying to make the world a better place by following the 3 R's: reducing food wastage, reusing paper, plastic items and recycling what can be recycled.

  3. Wow! That's impressive and touching. The girl is trying to save and change the world. She is fighting for her future and trying to convince the adults to change the world. She is speaking for the starving children and she is talking about the animals that are getting extinct. She is also speaking about the pollution that is happening now and how the children that live on the street are suffering. She is talking about how the people are really greedy. In some countries people bye and throw away and they wont share with the people who need. Make your action reflect your words. In our school, as a Diyafite we try to reuse materials and recycle paper, cans and plastic, we also switch off the light in the morning.

  4. This video made me look hard at myself, would I want the same for me? Do we all want to live in a world of fear and insecurities. Are we really sure that this earth will and can hold the waste we are throwing at it and for how long? Before changing this world we need to change ourselves, our ways and habits. We have more than we can consume so instead of saving it all for someday why not give, why not share what we have with others. Are we so busy in our lives that we can not even smile at a child which may take them out of their suffering for a minute? How are we so sure that we might never be in their place? To make this world a better place we first need to make ourself a better human. I as a Diyafite, participate in every contribution event that take place, give clothes to the poor, distribute old books and stationary material to those who cannot afford them.It saddens me to realize that there are children who cannot afford even a pencil. I,Hamnah, therefore promise to do more for people and help the needy.

  7. Severn was confident, her words were well spoken. She was just 13 years old and she wanted to make a big difference to save the environment. People who watched this video would get really inspired by the way she spoke. After I watched this video I started doing good deeds and started to save the environment by recycling. This video was a very touching one and this is the first video I have ever seen that touched my heart. Her words were so powerful that made the whole world clap. So I'll tell everyone who watched this video should start listening to her words and do good deeds for the environment.

  8. This girls, speech and confidence inspires me. This girl has come to support the Environmental Children’s Organization and has come to tell the adults to change their way. I was astonished to see that children my own age cared so much while the adults didn’t. I as a diyafite used to give many things to charity and recycle cans and newspapers but this video opened my eyes to giving more. As said in the video how a child who had nothing would offer everything, well this would be my way of offering everything I have back.

  9. My name is Renee and I think we should understand what we should and how we should save the earth. Do you think the earth can hold all the old and dirty waste we put on it? We should save all the animals that live on earth and are not extinct. We people don’t understand the value of things that we get .I guess we need to work on saving the environment. I , Renee will try to help the poor.

  10. This video is very touching and inspirational. It’s amazing how a group of twelve year old girls can do all this. The video tells us not to damage our environment. The Environmental Children’s Organization had a huge impact on my life. As a Diyafite, I will donate the things I don’t need instead of throwing it away. In our school we have many chances to donate things like food, stationery, etc. It makes me sad that they can’t even afford one single pencil! I promise to make a difference to the world just like her.

  11. This video is very effective to me, as a Diyafite I have decided to recycle paper not waste food and try to plant as many plants in my backyard. The girl who spoke for everyone’s future has inspired me and encouraged me to be environmental friendly. She was right about the mistakes we make that we can’t solve, and the people that are so greedy to share even though they have everything. We all should think about our future and make wise choices.

The girl mentioned we are that there are around billion poor families and children starving for food on the streets but still we are so greedy that we are not even willing to share a single penny with them! she is not wrong! there are children who cant even afford a piece of cloth or buy food but we are still wasting! now its the time to take action and do something! the animals are getting killed the air we breath has chemicals in it now! how will the world be after a few years? I, Fatima, a student will try my best to save the environment as well as this world and help the needy!

  17. The video was very touching. From now I will never litter the floor or never waste food or anything. I would give my old clothes, toys, books and accessories to the poor children. The way she spoke made me guilty. I felt very bad and hurt because we so rich and we never give anything to poor children and the poor children who don’t have anything they think of giving and sharing. Wow I never felt I did all this opening my eyes after watching this video is like waiting for the rain.

  18. I think that this video is very interesting. It’s sad to think that animals are killed every day and we might ever see them again. We should do little things to save the environment like recycle or don't waste food because some children don't have those things they have no food, shelter and they don't go to school they just sit in the street all day long begging for money for they families.

  19. The speech was moving and impacting. The focus of the video was to reveal how much damage had been done to the earth. Having watched the video I took a step back mentally and started thinking of ways to change the situation and what I could do to make it better. I started going around my room looking for what I could give away to help people. The future would look terrible if we do not take action. I, as a Diyafite promise to make a difference and be careful about everything I do. I will also reuse, reduce and recycle.

  20. Hello, my name is Naveera Khan. When I saw the video I was ashamed of myself. The girl Severn Suzuki makes an announcement for the poor because they have no love, care, wealth, health e.t.c. She told once when she and her dad went fishing they found a fish in cancer. She even said ‘’that if you can’t fix things then don’t break it. When I grow up will all these nature and beauty will be seen by her kids’’. Severn said now you have made all the beauty of nature extinct and know she is afraid to breath in the air. We Diyafite once send some sugar, chick peas, and canned food and many other stuff for the poor. Naveera Khan 6G1

  21. I think it was very smart of Severn to let the world know what she thinks. She understood that the world was getting different every single minute an I, as a diyafite promise that will be more giving than getting.

  22. Wow seeing this video made me look at myself. From now on i will give clothes, toys, stationary, shoes etc to the needy. I felt very guilty and hurt because we just keep throwing things away like wrappers or juice boxes when we should be thinking of the ways we could save the world.I mean waiting for people to change is like waiting for double the rain in a drought. I hamna maqsood take an oath to never litter grounds and think before i do something.
    Sincerly,

  23. The girl who silent the world was because the speech she said touched our hearts telling us that anyone can stop littering, can help poor, can give life to spices by stopping to kill them and provide them what they can only survive with. The speech touched me because I felt guilty that a poor said that if he was rich he could help someone else, so if a poor can help why can’t we? Her meaning to say was if the parliament can use money on wars then why not helping a poor? If a normal man can waste money on bidding why he give some to the poor? If we don’t help one day no one will help us, no one will care about us and actually it’s not about that no one will help us, it’s about feeling shame if a child can why not the elder? Why not the teens? Try to help, save and share. From now onwards I will help more so it will good for a child like me or adults like my parents or older like my grandparents, for their future like us.

  24. It was really nice of her how she was telling that we should shear with others and she told that when she meet a poor boy he said that if he was rich he would shear his money with other poor people and give them food and a place to live and he was a child we have so much money but still we don’t shear it with others. As a Diyafite I would give poor people money I would turn off the lights I would recycle things.

  25. I have just watched a video that is very touching and its true you know ,that the children don’t have anything but are still willing to share and what about us we have more than enough to share but still we are greedy. I think we need to start giving to the needy. And what about are animals there going extinct and we are just standing there doing nothing.
We need to start forming treaty’s so that our enviourment is still there for our children to see because if we don’t take care there will be no plants and animals for our children to see in the future. I Bhagyashri will promise to help the needy.
