We all need a little drama in our lives, and no one adds it better than this type of friend. She’s not a drama queen, just a princess, and her drama isn’t harmful or infectious. She can laugh at herself, and she’s never really catty, so she’s no frenemy… she’s just a diva!

i would like a friend who is funny, crazy and smart in studies and understands my feelings at the same time. i shouldnt hesitate to express my feelings to her and vice versa. if i take her as a true friend, she should too.
ReplyDeleteI would like a friend who is.... well a normal friend. Well, I'm not saying that most of us have abnormal friends but all I need is a normal friend. A normal friend is different from the 'funny guy' or even the 'try's to act cool but turns out like an idot',(even though I'm the latter). Well allow me to explain what a normal friend is.
ReplyDelete1. We don't greet normally sometimes it's the huggy hug and sometimes it's the bear hug because we may see each other every day but even a seperation of 17 hours is a lot of time.
2. You - "Oh I got 7 out of 10, I'm soo awesome"
Normal Friend - "well, I got 9 out of 10"
You - "What!! impossible!!, I copied the entire paper from you therefore we should get the same marks"
Normal friend - "I'm awesome, whatever"
3. We always don't always gossip about people but when we do we always use code names
The list is endless but whatever friend we all have we should have a friend who supports us and brings us to the right path.
Like when your friend falls you should help her get up..... after you finish laughing that is.
lol. i like your sense of humour, drithi. all you mean by NORMAL is smart, funny, bubbly, awesome. by that, you are comparing yourself, which is abnormal. anyways, you are a very good friend of mine and i love your character (im implying abnormal here!!) ;)

They are the ones that give your enemies a bloody nose, respect you and your beliefs, and embrace your madcap behavior with open arms. These buddies vow to lift your spirits, and always stand by you. That’s the type of friend I desire, someone that defines me, someone who will save me, someone who will hold me and take me up that ladder called life.
Once I find such a friend I pledge never to leave her side and never to be the reason for her pain and distress. I promise to gladden and hearten her sorrowful days and bring the widest of grins on her face. But most of all I promise to keep her by my side forever.

ReplyDeleteTo me a friend doesn't have to be someone with a long list of qualities, just one in particular ....Trust! A friend must be someone with whom you are ready to pour your heart out to, someone who can tap you on your shoulder and tell you that everything is going to be alright! Someone who will be your shoulder to cry on but best of all Someone who knows and trusts you inside out and is ready to be the only person who knows everything about you and still actually manage to love you for who you are .....

I think a friend will become a best friend once trust is built. Once the two don't hesitate opening up and talking about anything. Once the two people communicate without uttering a word and just by looking at each other. A super duper cool friend is the one that can prove you wrong even when you're right because she knows how you think. A person who knows all your jokes but laughs anyway, a person who can make you feel safe and protected just by a hug. That's the type of friend I want, and the type of friend I want to be. I'm happy I was lucky enough to find a precious diamond whom I call my best friend. =)
